Legend of the Sword
This is a zipped pdf file of the hint sheet that Rainbird prepared for Legend
of the Sword. It’s nowhere near as comprehensive as the Level 9 hint sheets, but it was better than nothing!
The hint sheet mentions the Axeman in passing. This was the nickname for Paul Coppins, who worked at TelecomSoft and who used to be one of Keith Campbell’s C&VG Adventure helpline assistants.
Paul was legendary for polishing off Infocom adventures for breakfast and Magnetic Scrolls games for elevenses! He’d often buy a new adventure and finish it overnight or over a weekend.
“The late TV presenter Neil Buchanan” is still alive and well.
Happy to fix a factual error, especially one of this magnitude! Glad to discover he’s still with us and continues to be creative! 🙂
