P47 Thunderbolt is a horizontally scrolling shoot ’em up, set during WWII. The original coin-op was made by Jaleco.

Blast wave upon wave of enemy fighter planes, helicopters and ground guns as you progress across Europe and Africa.

Each level is based in a different country, providing some variety to the backgrounds but not much else!

Destroy an entire wave and a pick-up appears, giving you bombs, spray missiles, multi-missles, a speed-up, directable fire or an extra life.
