Terra Force was written by David Harper and was submitted to TelecomSoft in response to the original adverts that were run in the Spring and Summer of 1984. It was Firebird’s third ever Spectrum release and was assigned number 9 in the production schedule.
The game was originally published in 1983 by Fashionsoft under the title Armageddon.
Terra Force was a passable shoot ’em up when you consider that it squeezed into under 16k of memory. Those early adopters who had bought the 16k Sinclair Spectrum quickly found their machine being edged out by the more expensive 48k model, so any games that fitted into 16k were gratefully received.
Hey Hey 16k!
