A quick plea for help from anyone visiting this site. If you still own any original Firebird, Rainbird or Silverbird titles it would be really helpful if you could email me details about the game. In particular, the barcode details from the back of the packaging. For example, Booty for the Spectrum had the following barcode: 5012439000167. This will help me to work out the production order for all of the Firebird, Rainbird and Silverbird games, because the barcode is broken down in the following way: 5 = country, 012439 = company identifier, 00016 = internal production number, 7=checksum.
I already have a fairly big list of these codes, as I've been slowly getting titles off ebay, but bare in mind that Booty (for example) was published across multiple formats and each one will have a different production code!
The production order unfortunately won't confirm the release order, as many games would have been planned for much earlier than their eventual release date. For example, I know for a fact (because I was there at the time!) that "GI Hero" has a production number before "Intensity", yet the latter game was published months before the former was finished.
Apart from the barcode, I also need to know the format. Taking it directly off the inlay is preferred, e.g. Spectrum 48k/+, 48k Spectrum, Amstrad 464/664/6128, etc.) and the label, i.e. Firebird Silver £2.50, Firebird Silver £1.99, Rainbird, Firebird Gold, Firebird Hot!, etc.
The best method would be to send high-quality scans (200-300 dpi) of the inlay front and back. However, to save people from any unnecessary scanning, it might be best to email first in case I already have a good scan of the packaging.
The current email address to send these details to can be found by following the 'Interact' link from the left-hand menu.
Thanks!

A quick update this time, with another three Silverbird budget games getting small tribute pages.
Silverbird - Duck!, Gold Digger and Run Baby Run
Not much else has changed, but some new and updated memorabilia items will be added to the relevant pages in a few weeks time.
