Exploding Fist + (Firebird)

Exploding Fist Plus (Firebird)

Exploding Fist Plus is the follow-up to Beam’s ‘Way of the Exploding Fist’ and ‘Fist II’ fighting games that had been so successful for publisher Melbourne House in the mid-80s.

Set against a New York backdrop, up to three player's can take part in a three-way karate tournament, where each round gets progressively harder. The ultimate aim is to reach 10th dan.

All of the usual karate moves from the previous games are present, so fans of the series will feel right at home!

The Commodore 64 version includes a bonus round after two successful bouts, where you throw ninja throwing stars at relentless attackers in an alleyway, before returning to the tournament for more punishment. The Spectrum version has a different bonus level, featuring monsters.
